I think a CPAP would help my quality of sleep and life.

I'm looking to buy one but know nothing, please can you advise?

Please don’t do this. CPAP is non invasive ventilation and needs to be used with medical support. If you have sleep apnoea it might really help but you need proper assessment and diagnosis.

Please talk to your GP about your sleep. This is not a solution to take upon yourself.

I've now made a gp appointment for tomorrow to discuss this.

Do any of you use a CPAP ? I was wondering if it really helps?

Glad you’ve made an appointment. Hope it goes well.

I have a cpap because I have obstructive sleep apnoea. My wife made me go to the sleep clinic as my snoring kept her up at night. My apnoea is particularly severe. My wife is very happy as my snoring no longer keeps her up, but it definitely hasn't improved my sleep. I wake up tired, it dries my mouth. It often gives me a heartburn sensation and increased wind.
