Baby sleeping bag tog

My 6 week old has become a right wriggler so I'm looking at getting him a sleeping bag however our room during summer sits right on the cusp for guidelines about which tog to get (22 degrees but drops slightly on a warm night, ect). I'd be more inclined to get a 2.5 as this is more versatile but there is times the room might be above 21 degrees. I'm already going to have to get 2 of whichever one I get because he's such a sicky baby so I really don't want to buy 2 2.5 tog ones and 2 1.5 tog ones.
What would everyone suggest?

I've heard the mournino wool ones will adapt to the temperature but I'm not sure how they work. I think they are quite pricey too.
I hear your pain on buying multiples - I've bought them in different togs and also had to buy multiple of each one and it's very expensive! Luckily I was gifted a few as well from a friend (they were all 2.5 tog) but they grow out of them so fast so I'm already looking at the next size up.
I have gone for two summer ones of 1.5 togs and 2winter ones at 2.5 - our room averages between 20-23 in the summer. If it gets too hot I let her sleep in just her vest or nappy.
As a warning though DD is seven months - I bought a few bags for 0-6 months as she too was a wriggler and she wouldn't sleep in any of them. Hated them.... so they were all a waste of money and I had to give them away as they were way too small by the time she was ready to sleep in one so maybe get one and see how LO is with it before spending out on a few

They were a game changer for us and my little boy slept much better in one rather than blankets. It is better for them to be on the cool side rather than too hot which is dangerous, so if you are debating between the two go for 1.5. But I think most are sized 0-6 month so depending on where you live that could take you into autumn/winter too so you may need the heavier one eventually anyway.

Also you can decide whether they need a vest and or Sleepsuit on to vary their temperature as well.

Will they be wearing it for naps also at that age? Mine didn't,

we used blankets downstairs in the crib. If you have a tumble dryer you could always get one of each and wash/ dry within a day. I'd personally rather have one of each to make sure we could get the temp right but we do have 2 of each tog to make washing easier.

If it isnt an option to buy enough sleeping bags in both winter tog rating and summer tog rating, then only summer weight ones would be safest.

You can put baby in a summer sleeping bag plus cover with a sheet/blanket as required in very cold winters (remembering feet to foot). You can also put baby in extra layers of clothing under the sleeping bag.

This would be safer than a baby over-heating in summer in a sleeping bag with a too-high tog rating.

My son would have been too hot in a 2.5 we have only ever used a 1 tog and a 0.5 in summer as our home rarely drops below 22.

Dont forget they will be in a vest and an all in one so I think 2.5 will be really warm... Id go lower tog personally

At this point I'd get 1tog. You can add clothing if it gets colder
