baby waking every 30 minutes

Hi, I have a 10 week old baby, HV thinks he has silent reflux, he's on anti reflux formula (C&g) and also been on omperazol for a few weeks. for the past 4/5 weeks he's been really unsettled in his sleep. he naps well in the day and from his first fed at 7-11pm is settled but then after this fed at 11 will wake up every 30-45 mins for the rest of the night. he grunts and strains and pulls his legs to to his tummy, farts a lot and eventually starts crying. I'll try to wind him or give him his dummy but it will only start up again within 30 mins. does this sound this silent reflux or someone else? I do baby massage every evening to help with any trapped wind, he's on mam bottles to help with the wind-infacol, gripe water and coielf have all had no effect at all either. I'm just at my wits end and extremly tired, waiting to get an app with pedatrition but who knows when that'll be.

Sounds exactly like my little one. Have you had him checked for tongue tie? My son was 4 months before diagnosed. He also has a cows milk protein intolerance diagnosed around the same time, since his tie was cut and switched formula he's a different baby and sleeps so much better.

Paediatrician also advised us to roll a small blanked and place under his legs so they are raised over night to help him with wind.

Raising one end of the cot can help, by putting books under the cot legs.

A swaddle may help the flaying around.

Is baby feeding well? How often are you feeding during the day/night?

What about daytime sleep- how much sleep is baby getting?

he did have tounge tie but they cut it when he was about 3 weeks old, I was wondering if it may be an intolerance of some sort and if it be worth switching his formula.
I'll have a go at putting the blanket under his legs!
in regards to the suspected silent reflux I've tried raising the moses basket, fedding up right, keeping him upright for 30 mins after a fed nothings made a differance. we also tried the swaddle but with it being so hot recently didn't want him to over heat, plus the last time we put him in it he fought against it
he feds veeeery well having 5 ounzes every 3-4 hours through out the day and the night, he's a very hungry baby! he could easily drink more as well.
he naps really well in the day, usually 1 long nap about 2-3 hour and then a shorter one about 45mims-1 hour.
we established a Routin really early on as well.
thanks for your help really appreciate any any fed back.

He should be having more then. A baby should always be offered more milk than they will drink. So make sure bottles are a volume that means there's always some left after the feed. If a bottle is drained, make bigger bottles in future.

Also, make feeds mire frequent. Try daytime feeds every 2 1/2 h to 3h throughout the daytime.

thanks. we tried him on 7 onzes last night and he still finished the whole bottle! and was still so unsettled all night.
gunna try some formula without cows milk in it now as well as another HV also recommended it.

If he's finishing the bottle, make up bigger bottles. There should always be more offered in the bottle than baby will drink.

I would also suggest feeding more often through the day. For example my DD used to have full bottles every 2h during the daytime:
7am 9am 11am 1pm 3pm 5pm 7pm
That then meant much fewer calories were needed at night.

From what you have said so far - these issues could all just be down to baby being hungry and wanting more calories than he is getting.

The simplest answers are often the right ones. Just feed more.
