Hi looking for advice or others experience of your 2 years olds sleeping schedule

My DD is 23 months and seems to be fighting naps a bit. It's hit and miss some days and I don't know if I'm too late putting her down or too early...is she getting enough exercise etc etc

Day goes like this...

Up 7.30am
Breakfast
8.30 garden or park close by....
10.30am snack - fruit
Lunch 12.30
Try for the nap between 1pm and 1.30pm. Give up if it's not happening!!
Play date
Snack 3pm/3.30pm
Dinner 5pm
Bath
Bedtime 7pm/7.30pm. Will sleep through to 7.30am

I'm just need some time in the day!!!

Is it too late? Too early?

She’s probably in the process of dropping the nap. I’ve got a daughter who’s just turned 2 and seems to be not wanting to nap as much. If she is sleeping 12 hours at night she probably won’t need as much day time sleep. It’s tough when you are use to having an hour or so in the day but at least you get your evenings and a full sleep which id take any day over a nap.

I'd say dropping nap too but can you have quiet time if there's no nap?
Books in bed or on the sofa?

I tried a quiet time reading books cuddling on sofa today.

I got to put my feet up and have a cuppa for 40mins at least.

Would prefer her to have a rest and nap.

I keep thinking she's missing a nap 🥴

Sorry, agree with PP, sounds like it's going.

And yes, it is hard when they drop it, and sure, I miss them for that chance to have a breather but for the easier bed time and generally better little boy about sleeping, no question
