1 year sleep regression or something else?

I've heard about sleep regressions and in all honesty I don't think we have had one so far but last 5 nights dd won't settle.

Dd normal routine would be 7pm feed and bed. In a cot in her own room. Wake up 5.30 ish, have a feed and come into our bed and go back to sleep for an hour or two. If she woke in the night she also used to settle herself back to sleep really well.

The last 5 nights have been hard. Dd won't settle at all unless she is cuddled into me or dh. Does this sound like sleep regression and it will pass or do I need to look at trying different routines?

What are her gross motor skills like? It's very usual for sleep to go rubbish at the time when baby is able to stand up in the cot or starts walking and trying to climb in the cot. These are skills which develop around the first birthday, so are often the reason behind any sleep regressions.

Another thing to consider, if this behaviour is very new and a sudden change, is pain of some description. It could be teething or maybe even illness - sore throat, ear ache, head cold, that kind of thing.

Thank you for commenting. Dd is not able to walk yet. She is starting to cruise the furniture though. She has been standing in the cot for a few months now, so wouldn't think it's that. Today she has started to resit being in her highchair at meal times. She is hungry and wanting her food but doesn't want to be in her highchair.

I'm not sure about pain, I don't think she is teething as she isn't showing usual signs.
