19 month old struggling with sleep

My LO has always been ok with her sleep. But since turning 18 months (she’s now almost 20 months) I feel like I’m failing with her routine. We’re struggling with taking hours to go to sleep and then due to over tiredness she’s am waking early and a complete grump. I’m on my own and the days are just so hard when she’s not slept properly... can anyone share a good day time routine and naps and bedtime routine? Currently DD naps around 12.30/1-2.30/3 - I wake her after 2 hours. I then start bed time routine at 6.30 with bath then teeth and story. She’s usually in her crib for 6.50ish (no later than 7) but then takes over an hour to fall asleep and then wakes early screaming (today was 5.30...) she’s very active and gets hyper very quickly - please can anyone help? I’m on my own so the days are so hard when she’s not well rested....

I wouldn't wake her from the lunchtime nap. If you're worried about sleeping after 3pm then I would aim to get her asleep earlier - 11/11.30am for example.

How does your baby go to sleep?

At this age mine were put in the cot (stood up) with dummy where they lay down and settled to sleep on their own. My youngest was having 4h daytime sleep and 11h overnight sleep at this age.

Yes maybe he needs more daytime sleep...I just found letting him sleep as long as he wanted made it even harder to settle at night. He has a dummy - I put him in his cot and he puts himself to sleep. But it takes over an hour at night

But it takes over an hour at night

What's he doing in that time?

If he is lying down in his cot, quiet and relatively still and with nothing stimulating, just leave him.

Yes she doesn’t cry etc just rolls around and quite restless. I wouldn’t mind but as she wakes so early lately she’s such a grump as she’s only getting about 9 hours sleep at night...
