Almost every night my 6 month old wakes 30-45 minutes after bedtime. We generally put her to bed at around 7pm, and pretty much without fail she'll wake around 30 minutes later. I can count on one hand the number of times she hasn't done this.
I've tried different nap times, from uber-regimented scheduled naps, to just napping whenever she seems tired, which is what we're doing at the moment. Nothing seems to make a difference. I just want to be able to put her to bed and actually cook my dinner and eat it hot!
Any thoughts on how to stop this? Everything on the internet seems to suggest she's overtired, but she's woken up tonight after 30 minutes and she's absolutely wide awake, laughing and giggling.
