Always a sleep issue

Since around 6 months my daughters gone through all different sleep phases even with a routine in place -
Late bed times
No naps
Early wakes

She's now 19months and
Since sept she's been waking at 7.30 napping for 2 hours and in bed for around 8
Perfect.

The past 3weeks she just won't go to sleep it's taking absolute hours 2-3.
I've tried different bed times, changing nap times and alternating lengths.
She will willing go to bed, get her blanket /teddy and up the stairs, then the second she's in bed (toddler bed) she's wild singing, dancing, shouting.
I've tried leaving her with the baby gate on to tire her self out but she will scream the place down (which I don't want to do for long periods, plus my neighbours work shifts at it would likely disturb them)
I'm fine sitting with her to go asleep if she would actually do that!

Obviously her day time routine has changed but she's getting fresh air n exercise out in the garden . I'm really at a loss I've 4 essays due in at the beginning of may and I'm loosing my entire evenings sat in her bedroom.

It could be a phase but it may also be time to drop her nap or at least reduce it.

I've tried to reduce it
Today she's actually only had 20 mins and she's still up

Maybe try and experiment of a couple of weeks of no nap and see what happens.
