dts are both brilliant sleepers, exept dt1 is such a light sleeper, when I go to bed, I have to creep upstairs in the dark, run the tap so its only a dribble coming out (too noisy otherwise) brush my teeth as quietly as I can, I sare not flush the chain etc etc, if I so much as cough she wakes up, she gets off to sleepagain easy enough but I have to go in to soothe her. Ds on the other hand is such a heavy sleeper, when we first moved here, we built his wardrobe (flat pack) in his room while he was sleeping, and he did'nt even stir

I have a ds who is a light sleeper - I would never check on him when he was younger as he would wake as soon as I went into the room. Now he is in a bed I go and check him and sometimes he looks up and says hello mummy! He goes back to sleep ok. But he gets it from me I am a v light sleeper.

Yes, my LO is an ultra light sleeper too at night. I daren't check on him!!!! I am a V light sleeper though.

Have you tried putting a fan in his room or a radio turned to static so that there is ALWAYS some background noise that blocks out the other noises of the household.

When it was hot and LO had a fan I found he slept better.
