What to put ds to sleep in when nights get colder...

DS (13 months) gets really upset in a grobag - he thrashes around a lot in his sleep and the few times I've put him in one I ended up going in at 2 or 3am to find him sat up crying with his legs stuck at a funny angle as he's sitting on the twisted end of the grobag.

As it's been warm he's just been wearing pjs of various thicknesses... What do others do when it gets really wintry?

Using sheets/blankets seems pointless considering his night-time gymnastics - surely most babies are like this though? I am somehow missing a really obvious solution, aren't I...

Fleece babygros (possibly over the normal ones, depending on how cold it is) - Woolworths often have them.

This kind of thing, (but possibly with feet)?

Thanks Jackie - I looked for the thick all-in-one babygros in a couple of shops but they only seemed to go up to 12 months and ds is very tall. Will try Woolies.

They're usually the ones who have them at a reasonable price - but it might be too early in the season.

x-posted - Ooh I like those ones and they are big enough too... feet would be good but I can always put socks on him failing that.

Found some with feet too. But Woolies would probably be cheaper. (and look - you could have one to match)

PMSL 'can be worn as a sleepsuit or just for lounging about in...' Can just imagine answering the door in that.

I can never find what I want on the web - need to fix my googling skills! You're fabulous, thanks.
