Too much sleep

Is this possible? My little girl (19 months) has 2x 2.5 hour naps and has done since forever. Plus a proper nights sleep. I've been told by a few people that this is too much and she will probably struggle at school and that I should force her to have one nap a day. Does anyone have any experience of this, is it normal or should i worry and make just one big nap? Thank you

She's not even 2 yet, you've got a while before school. Literally years. All babies are different. If this is working for you, and for her, stick with it til she indicates she's ready to change. Or til it stops working for your family setup.

That sounds fine you will probably find that after the age of 2 she may naturally just drop one sleep anyway.

My lo needs loads of sleep and napped right up to starting school but has adjusted to school fine. Just need to make sure he's in bed early each night. Some children need more sleep than others. If you look it up the 'sleep spectrum' for the different ages is quite wide and some children will be at the top end and others the bottom.

Thank you everyone. That makes me feel better

DD would still often have 3-4 hours in the middle of the day and 12 hours at night at this age.
She dropped the nap one day and that was it. She still loves sleep though.
