Hi all
My baby is 9 months. He has been ill/teething since Xmas but generally he has never slept well/long periods l and needed feeding often in the night...he is a big boy btw!
However I go back to work in 2 weeks and getting up 3/4/5 times a night is getting really tough. I’m exhausted in the morning. I end up feeding him to sleep - sometimes they are v short and I think just for comfort. He no longer has milk in the day just 6pm before bed and in the night.
I’m so close to buying an online course (just chill mama) as I need more sleep!!! I don’t mind 1 even 2 get ups but sometimes it’s every 2 hours. Any advice?

No advice really but would love to know if you bought the course and how you got on as considering it myself... thanks so much

Hi
I did buy it .... it’s educational and helps to understand sleep issues but I haven’t religiously followed advise although guidance in routine has helped and my baby is sleeping a lot better! 10 hours straight last night! I’ve gone back to work too so I think childminder/going to grandparents also tires him more.
However looks like we are starting to move to 1 nap so everything is about to change soon!

Oh thanks so much for letting me know. Sounds like you have had some success with it. That’s great news. Was there a lot of upset and crying at bedtime? That’s what Is putting me off buying at the moment...

I too am intrigued about how you’re doing. My DS is 7 months and wakes for comfort every hour! How much did you pay for the course and do you think it was worth it?

LL82 · 18/02/2020 21:28

There has been a bit of crying when I used the settling methods but not too much. But tbh I’m still feeding him when he wakes...I plan to stop soon so it might be then that I need to really use them!
It was £40 and some of the info I knew and some of it I didn’t! Like I said I don’t think I have fully followed it but I have seen an improvement since implementing more of a routine.
