Hi everyone , a few “just wondering “ questions . DD is 8 and a half months and sleeps in a co sleeper beside our bed, very happily . I’ve had lots of people ask me why she hasn’t been moved to her own room . I love having her in our room and to be honest I wouldn’t sleep a wink I don’t think If I couldn’t hear her during the night . Is there actually anything wrong with keeping her in with us ?

Of course not.
Do what suits you best.
No harm will be done.
If you have space for a room for her you can set it up when she is two or so

My 16 month old is still in mine. His sister was in her own room at 7 months. You know what's right for your child, trust your instincts.

Thanks for the reply . That was my plan but just taken aback by different people saying how she should be already in her own room . We set up her nursery but haven’t built her cot , purely to keep her clothes, toys etc so she will have her own space eventually but just not for a little while .

Absolutely noting wrong with it, if you are happy make the most of it.

You will know when the time is right 💐

Nothing from with it at all. Our DS is the same age and he is in his own room most of the time but he’s been poorly then teething lately so he’s back in our room in his co sleeper until he’s better. Only thing I would say though is that DS hardly has any room in his co sleeper now, it seems to small for him. Does your DD still have plenty of room? If not and you want to keep her in your room then you could always build the cot and keep it in your room
