Does she stay still or role around? I feel mine would think it was tome to party. He shares a room with his 4 year old sister and its starting to disturb her as he is so chatty so i bring him in ajd plonk him in the travel cot
He never goes back to sleep but i feel at least its nkt getting him up till 5.35ish.

managedmis · 30/10/2019 19:51

Kind of.

But I reckon the kids may sleep earlier who knows

SnowWhite26 · 30/10/2019 19:55

How do you resettle. My lo seems to never go back to sleep. Ive tried ignoring milk controled crying hes just ready to get up! I no its a phase im just so tired as my 4 year old is very challenging atm and so now im obsessed by sleep.

SoyDora · 30/10/2019 19:57

Usually with milk. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s always cause for celebration if he wakes at 5ish then goes back to sleep until 7!

SoyDora · 30/10/2019 19:58

I found with my first two that they consistently started sleeping until 7 when the morning nap was dropped.

SnowWhite26 · 30/10/2019 20:05

Yeah i have got so desperate that i have contacted a sleep consultant and she sats tgat drop the morning nap and make it afternoon the prob is he cat naps in car ok the way to morning activity lol x

NeverGotMyPuppy · 30/10/2019 20:11

@SoyDora that's what I am starring to wonder tho DS was going til 7 quite happily til we went on holiday.

SoyDora · 30/10/2019 20:15

I found I had to slow down on activities a bit while making any sort of change like dropping naps... so for example when dropping the morning nap I’d avoid the car or long pushchair trips before lunchtime as they were guaranteed to fall asleep! Then once they got used to not napping then I went back to normal. It is a pain though!

SnowWhite26 · 30/10/2019 20:33

Coz its half term all activities are in the car lol althougg tommorow im doing a morning activity where i live so hopefully no nap till lunch time. Im shopping for nursery stuff and having lunch out on fri so he will have to nap in buggy but hopefully in afternoon.

SoyDora · 30/10/2019 20:35

Sleep went to pot here over half term (ours was last week) because I was taking the older DC out and he was having to sleep out and about!

SnowWhite26 · 31/10/2019 02:21

I think my children hate me. We go to bed at 8.30 to get some sleep as so exhausted and my 4 year oldcwakes up screaming. I waa so angry my compassion wemt out the he window. My husband dealt with her but she wouldnt stop crying so i got cross so then she wanted daddy it was horrible. Eventually after coming in our room then going back to bed and crying more she shut up. Now baby has woken up. He has a horrible cough so gave him calpol and cuddle and he seems to have chatted himself quiet but now i dont trust myaelf to go back to sleep. Think i might go to the doctors with both of them tommorow and get them checked as both not right since sat. Can someone die of lack of sleep? Haha
