Hi everyone, wondering if anyone has had a similar situation.... DS has moved to his own room in his big cot about 10 days ago.. he slept in my room in his next 2 me crib for the last 6 months. He used to be a dream for going down, give him a bottle pop him in the crib and he would put himself to sleep pretty quickly or he would happily lie awake and drift off after a while. In his new cot however he screams and cries until we go back in and as soon as we turn our back again he cries, is he just getting used to his new surroundings... ConfusedConfused

Would it be worth a try putting him in the next to me in his own room for a bit first and then into the big cot once his ready?
It might ease him into it maybe

It took a while for ours to get used to. We would just always go back in, pick her up, comfort her and put her back down. She loves it now, all the space, conks out almost instantly! Do you put him in a sleeping bag?

@girlmummy25 I did think about this but it's been a while he's been out of it now, I worry putting him back in then shifting him will make it worse 😬
@Tetrus ah okay so I'll just stick with it. Yeah he goes in a sleeping x

I had exactly the same thing at 6 months. Took about 4 weeks for bsby to get used to new bed and new room, but he got there in the end - I was convinced that I needed to change something to make the room / bed better, but in the end it was just a bit of time needed to adjust.
