How do I break the cycle?

Hello mums.....

I don't know if anyone has any advice but I feel like my schedule has gone to pieces since my DD now 9 months has been teething....

....and I don't know how to get it back.

Bedtime was between 7 and 8... a couple of wake ups but guarantee till around 11/11.30 and then through to 7 - sometimes another wake up at 3/4am....

Now she refuses bedtime... sometimes down 8.30pm for 30 mins and then it takes 2 hours to get her down. Last night 11.30pm. She then woke at 3.30am for 20 mins and then slept till 9am....

This is pretty much the pattern.

She fights naps.... she used to take 90 mins to 2 hours at 10/10.30 but this happens occasionally.

I don't know if waking her at 7/730 might help. I've totally lost my evenings even though I get a lie in of some sort.

Anyone shed any light? Evenings are giving me anxiety now after a really long day.

Is she just having the one nap a day starting at 10.30?

Sometimes 30 minutes in the afternoon around 3pm but not always...

Sometimes we get to 1pm and she hasn't napped!!! She'll take 90 minutes then as well.

She fights the afternoon nap a lot!!

Today she had 30 mins at 3pm after waking at 9.30am

I read somewhere that babies have s "day time" of 12-13 hours, so yes, if you're not starting the day until 9am, then 10pm or later (because they're not tired enough when they've been put to bed) doesn't seem unlikely. I would wake at 7-7.15. It'll be rough going the first day or so but should straighten things out. It's exactly what I'd do (and have done) with jet lagged babies and toddlers.

FWIW even if I've had a rough night with second DD I wake her up at 7.15 (she's 11 months old now and also having the odd problem night with her teeth).

At 9 months, both mine were on the following routine: Wake 7, Nap 9-10, Nap 1-2.30/3, Bed 7/7.30.
