Baby keeps rolling on tummy to sleep - is that OK?

My 9 month old girl has started rolling about in her cot until she falls asleep in whatever position she's in! Often this means she is asleep on her front. Is it OK for her to sleep on her front now? I often roll her back over but it does disturb her and makes her cry (aaah) but obviously if she does it once I've gone to bed she could be like that all night.

I think if shes old enough to roll onto her front then she should be able to roll back just make sure blankets are tucked in at the bottom of the cot so she doesnt get tangled.

Can she roll both ways?

if she ahs no probs rolling back over then i would leave her as she is. dd did that about the same age and it drove us all nuts trying to keep her on her back
the best thing we invested in was a baby sleeping bag. she didn't get tangled up in or lose her blankets so we all slept ok.

My 10 month old does that now too - we put him to sleep one way round and he normally ends up on his front at the opposite end of the cot! We use a growbag instead of sheets so he can't get tangled under them. Can she get back onto her back on her own?

I meant Gro-bag (not growbag - he's not a tomato plant!)

Yes she can roll both ways and she is in a baby sleeping bag, although that ends up all twisted up. Thanks for advice, I'll leave her to it!
