6 months old not sleeping

My DS is now 6 months old and sleeping in a cot next to our bed. Up until this past week he has slept from 10pm until 5am every night, then gone back off until 8am after a bottle. He has now started waking by 1am lifting his legs in the air and crying until i get him. Through desperation by about 3am i just get him in with me and he sleeps soundly.

We can never put him down awake as after his last bottle he is flat out before finishing it no matter what time we feed him.

He has 2 bottom teeth which had us up for 2 weeks as they were cutting, and im not sure if hebis getting his top ones now. He is grizzly drizzle through the day and is dribbling constantly and chomping on everything. He is also on a sleep positioner. We tried removing the sleep positioner a few weeks ago and this resulted in him not sleeping at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions, apart from teething?xx

I should also add he will not nap at all unless he is in pram, car on or me which is draining. Is he too young to be sleep training, and if it is teething would it be silly to start now? Tia xx

Does sound like teething OP. Have you tried abnesol / teething rings / calpol? Sounds like he's usually a great little sleeper (lucky you!) so I'd wait it out without sleep training- their gums really do give them hell, poor things.

Agree it sounds like teething.

My daughter is the same as in she will chew and suck on anything, dribbles and is grizzly. However unlike your son when she wakes up in the night she gets herself back to sleep. She is 7 months so weaned but has been refusing to eat for the past week unless it's cucumber. We have put teething toys in the fridge and then given then to her which seems to help.
