Three month old thrashing about

My daughter is 3.5 months old. Has never been a brilliant sleeper but about five weeks ago started doing a good long stretch of 4/6 hrs then waking maybe one or twice for a feed ( she is ebf).

The last two weeks she is still following a similar pattern except when I put her down in her next to me crib as usual on her back she either wakes suddenly or thrashes about wildly with hands and legs with her eyes shut until she wakes herself up and starts grizzling.

Then I have to pick her up and fed her again and it repeats.

Tonight after waking for a change/feed at 1:45 I put her back down at 2:35 and she spent the next 45 mins thrashing around. I try to ignore it as long as possible, she is changed, warm and well fed and has a white noise app on. She's not swaddled as she hates it, I'm just at a loss why she is thrashing around.

She is early teething as well and generally has well in the day. We start bedtime routine at 8 with aiming to go to bed at nine.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes and sorry but I think it sounds normal and you'll just have to wait it out, she will grow out of it.

What makes you think she is teething?

Lots of drooling, chewing on her hands, my hands, teething toys etc the health visitor and the nurses at her second lot of jabs told me.

Just frustrating we finally got in a routine and had a few good weeks of being settled and now she's thrashing around wildly and will only settle/sleep on me. I refuse to co sleep, tried it for a week and it was not for me. She will come in with me for an hr in the morning to side feed and sleep til we both wake properly that's fine but not all night.
