Early waking all of a sudden

I've been back at work for 2 months and my 9mo has been sleeping after a dream feed till 7am, often needing waking. For the last two weeks he's been waking at 5.45, and isn't resettling. I leave him in his cot till as close to 7am as I can. He's generally happy playing around. I have no choice as I have to get ready for work!

Here's our routine:

Wake - used to be 7am
9am - nap, always wake him after an hour
1pm nap - usually 2 hours, sometimes a little shorter
7pm bed

He self settles etc.

Any advice?!

I'm following like a hawk as my 6mo has been waking at 4am to start her day for the last 3 months. No solutions here but I think she might need a later bedtime. I'm currently working out how much sleep she's getting over night and then going to look at readjusting bedtime accordingly. Worth a try.

Has this coincided with the clock change? Just wondering if the light is waking him? Not the case here as every single spek of light has been shut out.

A standard piece of advice would be to try and push the first nap forward by 15-20 minutes and cut it from 1 hour to 45 minutes.

I remember I had to constantly tweak DD routine starting from 9-10 months to minimise (relatively) early waking. Whenever DD began waking up before 6.30am, I used to cut her morning nap and move it forward. Once DD transitioned to a single nap at 15 months, her routine has remained constant for nearly a year.
