What's your bedtime routine?

Hi everyone!
Interested to know everyone's bedtime routine for their little ones? Smile
I have a 14 week old who I give last bottle at 9 (I go to bed with him), for which he will be asleep in his crib by 10pm and sleep through till 6.
While this is absolutely amazing (8 hours sleep yahooooo!), I'm finding that in the evenings I'm so focused on keeping baby awake until 9pm etc that my partner and I are losing our time. Should we do routine earlier and put him to bed in the other room with the baby monitor so we can get our nights back?!
Love to hear your experiences!! Grin

At about 9 weeks, we chose to put our DS down to bed at 7.30 and accept that he'd wake up during the night. That meant we had some 'us' time in the evening (also, he'd cry until midnight otherwise). We got an angel care monitor with the breathing sensor for a bit of reassurance while he was sleeping for a few hours without us being in the room.

I aim to give my 14 week old his bottle between 8 and 9pm, then nappy change and off to bed. He still likes to be swaddled so we do that, put on Euan the sheep and he's usually asleep in his moses basket within 20 minutes.

He normally makes noises in his sleep between 4-5am when I give him his dummy and reswaddle if he's unswaddled. He'll then go back over until 7-8am.

SIDS advice is that he is in the same room as you for at least 6 months. Another room, monitor or not, is a massive increased risk.

He’s so tiny. I don’t know how anyone can be looking to put their needs first in these early days.
