As per title really. DS keeps finding new and exciting ways to be a crummy sleeper. He used to kind of rub his hands (like a tiny Montgomery Burns) when going to sleep, but has now discovered what fun it is to remove your dummy, play with it for a bit and then howl with rage because you no longer have a dummy in your mouth. Over. And over. And over again.
I wondered about introducing a soft toy for him to fiddle with instead of the dummy. DD, aged 4, has one of those Jellycat animals with a square of fabric attached and we have one for him, but I haven't offered it yet. I can't remember what age we gave it to DD and am not sure when it is safe. Or will a toy simply increase his arsenal of ways to annoy both of us at every nap and bedtime?
My brain is too tired, please tell me when you introduced a comforter and whether it worked!
