Sorry if it's long..
My dd is almost 8 months old she's not been a bad sleeper tbh
Once a night from newborn for about 5/6 weeks and then full nights till 4month sleep regression which lasted a couple of weeks waking screaming at 4am even with a dream feed to prevent this anyway then we went back to full nights & then full nights but not going down till midnight even though she sleeps very little in the day. Not really a crier compared to others except at night she was screaming whilst being rocked to sleep looked exhausted but would not settle. Now we're teething and crying again at bedtime after 4 days of 8pm till 9am!
I'd rather have the constant no sleep than the promise of some and then bam ! I just don't know wether I'm coming or going. I have a 3 year old boy in his own room I lay with him until he falls asleep (this works for us) occasionally wakes and comes into my bed I let him cuddle and then take him back to bed. He's just had an operation so I'm trying to be constantly available to him and It's really difficult I'm tired because I've got a baby that needs attention at night.
I've tried crying it out , it sometimes works for day naps only if she's exhausted and I don't do it unless she is absolutely on her last legs with tiredness. At the minute I think the teething is what's preventing her as she's spitting out her dummy even though she wants it. she's had a temp of 39.2 this evening. 39 this morning but otherwise seems fine is being controlled with paracetamol and ibuprofen. I don't know what to do next 🤷🏽‍♀️
