Newborn Day Sleep

Hi all
My DD is a week old and I'm wondering what I dress her in when she sleeps in her carry cot during the day.
My house is roughly 20°c/21°c and during the day she is in a bodysuit and babygrow.
I use a gro swaddle or cosy gro snug at night but both of these are recommended to be used only with a bodysuit at that temperature.
I am worried about using them with the body suit and babygrow during the day in case she gets too hot so should I just take her babygrow off and use gro swaddle/gro snug every nap time?
Blankets terrify me so I'm wondering what others do? She's still too small for a proper sleeping bag at this point.
Thanks for any advice!

Guidelines state that between 16-20 degrees is best for reducing sids. So I would say nothing additional would be fine if the temp in the house is what you mentioned. I don't cover my baby in anything for naps in the day and use a sleeping bag at night. It helps him differentiate between day and night sleep too.

Also just to add about the blanket thing. I used them in the early days when he didn't wriggle around in his sleep and just ensured it was well tucked in at the bottom. I don't use them now he wriggles all over the cot.

I didn’t use anything for daytime naps, just into the Moses basket in what she was wearing. Maybe a blanket if it was chilly and we were out so she was sleeping in the pram (summer baby though so not much need for that in the early days).
If you feel like you need to use the swaddle for daytime naps then just remove the baby-grow and put it on over the vest? But personally I like to differentiate between daytime naps and nighttime sleep and maybe I’m kidding myself but I think using the grobag only for bedtime at night is a good way to do that.

We used cellular blankets with holes in them for during the day and would swaddle him and then a gro swaddle/ gro bag at night (he was a big baby and could go into them after 2 weeks)

Thank you all. I've been putting her down just in what she was wearing but panicked it wasn't enough even though she felt ok.
New Mum worry!
