Do your young children share a bedroom?

I´m thinking of putting a toddler, 3.5 and a 6 month old baby in the same bedroom. Anyone have experience of how this works out? Does it mean less sleep for everyone all round? They could have their own bedrooms but it would mean losing the study..

I shared a room with my sis till i was 11. i hated it even though the room was massive as the gnashed her teeth and 'snored' (more like heavy breathing) and i am light sleeper. snoring for me is like someone pulling fingernails down a blackboard! i'd love my kids to share though (when i have more than 1) - guess it depends on the kids as to how well it works. my sis could have shared a room with anyone and slept through it...

Our DD1 (2.5yo) and DD2 (1yo) do fine together. DD2 still wakes up in the night and complains until we put her back to sleep, but DD1 sleeps right through.

They both entertain each other in the morning which is quite sweet.

Mine sleep better when sharing. Stopped the nightmares!

Sharing is good for them, in my opinion. They may disagree when they are teenagers but hey, it's a place to sleep!
