Why is he suddenly not sleeping??

My DS has had a great routine of sleeping from 9pm-6am from when he was 11 weeks. However for the last few weeks he has woken at least once a night and this week he has woken about 3-4 times per night - sometimes needing a BF sometimes just for comforting. He is 22 weeks now so I have tried baby rice in case he was getting too hungry but this seems to have made it worse. Any ideas of what may help - I haven't changed his bedtime routine at all. Should I be trying different food to try to fill him up a bit? Would appreciate any tips or suggestions

you have been incredibly lucky so far in terms of his sleep.
4 months is notorious for changes to sleep.
what you need to rememebr is that he is a baby. and babies often wake up during the night.

Oh wow cari you are me !! I was just about to write the exact same thing, double !!

My DS also had a great sleep routine (a bit too good) just like yours but for the past month he has completely reversed and it´s now a nightmare. He too is waking 3-4 times a night every night some times he wants to be BF other times its just a comfort thing. Like you I haven´t made any changes to his routine. It has left me completely baffled...
He has just turned 6 months and I have introduced some solids: cereal, fruit and veg purees and it hasn´t made a blind bit of difference....sorry to be negative.
I don´t have any advice but wanted you to know you´re not the only one experiencing this - sending you empathy in adundance
