Baby so noisy at night- I'm getting no sleep!

My 5 week old grunts and strains and whimpers all night. We are combi feeding and she has formula at night, she is gaining weight well with plenty of nappies. I am just getting no sleep as it's just constant all night. I'm at ftm so I'm finding r hard to know when i need to lift her to feed her or when to just leave her. I normally end up picking her up for a feed if her eyes are open and she's been unsettled for more than half an hour. But with the noises, how do you know if baby is hungry or just sleeping and making noise?! When I look at her her eyes are usually closed and she may drift off again only to start doing same thing again. I'm so tired!!!

Babies in my experience are noisy little things at night time sleep. I think I put it down to griping issues and it usually stops by about 8 weeks I think. That was the case in my 2 anyway. I think I just left alone unless they were whingy or crying.
Try to think of something else or take yourself to a nice place In your mind and see if you drift off. It’s so normal so don’t worry and it will pass!!

This is why I moved DS into his own room early. He slept from 8-5 but spent all night shuffling and sniffling and gurgling in his sleep which drove me crazy!
I will point out - lullaby trust / SIDS guidelines do state that babies stay in the same room as you until 6 months if you can copeGrin

Yea, both of mine did this. I would leave well alone if they’re not crying. You’ll get used to sleeping through it eventually.
