Please help me get 14 month old DD to sleep

I’m at my wits end with DD 14months.
She’s never been a good sleeper. We pretty much always cosleep. We’re still breastfeeding and i basically lay feeding her for sometimes 2/3 hours until she falls asleep. She cries and wrigggles and bites but if I try to take her off the boob she totally loses her shit. She won’t take a bottle and I just can’t do this anymore. I just want her to go to sleep, in her own cot at a normal time. I’m supposed to be starting uni in 2 weeks and I don’t see how I can manage it without having any time to myself. During the day, she cries if i walk out of the room.
Please please please someone tell me what to do. Currently sitting on my bed crying whilst she’s pinching and scratching my chest while she feeds.
Actually can’t do this anymore.

I usually recommend co sleeping as a solution to sleep problems but it sounds like you need some time and rest on your own.
Is there anyone else who could take a turn putting her to bed?
Have you tried any kind of sleep training?
What about bottles or dummies, not ideal I know but could give you a break.

DP has tried but she literally screams the place down and with 2 other DC, it’s not ideal.
The other 2 were bottle fed and had bath, bottle and straight to bed with no problems from when they were a few months old. I know it’s the breastfeeding that’s making her this way but I don’t know how to stop when she’s so reliant on it. She manages without it fine when she’s at nursery or with MIL but as soon as she sees me she’s sticking her head down the neck of my top. She’s such a gorgeous little pudding but I can’t continue with this. I dread every single evening.

You could take turns with DP to put her to bed and actually go out of the house at bed time? Then she has no options but to go to sleep with him... It might be disruptive to begin with but it's not really fair on you for it to continue like this!!

Sounds such hard work. My DD is 16.5 months now and so much better than she was at 14 months - a lot less clingy. Do you think your little one is teething maybe? I am still breastfeeding but she is nowhere near as demanding as she was a couple of months ago. Good luck and hope you get some time soon.

It is not the breast feeding, she's just a different child. YOu got lucky with the first two

I think the only way around this is to nightwean using DP. He will have to sleep with her for a while. I am moving my 19 month old to her own room soon and once she is settled and comfortable I’ll be sending DH in the middle of the night to settle/cuddle. He’ll have milk/water in a bottle but it’s important to us both she is still comforted so he will sleep in with her every time she wakes until she is weaned.
