10 month old not sleeping

Could really do with some advice. Our ten month old is on Nutramigen from about three months old after blood in stools. We're also obviously on three meals a day. Plus 4/5 bottles around 5 ounces. He's teething too. But.....
Sleep is killing us or the lack of it. Our baby wakes at 10pm, 2am, 4am and then 6am often crying or thrashing about. We really want him sleeping through the night. At first we thought maybe he'll fall into sleeping better but it hasn't happened and I can't see it happening but I'm not entirely comfortable with sleep training.

I feel like a dog chasing its tail.

Routine is

10pm bottle 5 ounces
2am bottle 6 ounces
4am wakes resettle with dummy in cot or in our bed
Wake up at 6am (usual skip bottle as he take 2/3 ounces)
Breakfast by 7.30 (finger food)
Nap 9am longer if napping on me about 1.3hrs // 40 mins in cot

Playtime park/at home on playmat/Reading

Midday lunch finger food
1pm bottle 6 ounces

Nap 1-2 hours

Up from 3pm

Dinner 5pm

Bath 6pm
Massage book
Bottle 7pm

Sleep by 7.30/7.45 he doesn't always fall asleep after bottle

I'm exhausted, feel like a eight failure and just looking for some help!!!!

Our dd is 9 months and up until three weeks ago was on the same sleep routine. I was really reluctant, but got Dr Ferber "I can solve your sleep problems" book. It worked within 3 nights and she now sleeps 7-6. Really didn't need to 'cry it out' much at all! Only once the first night. Our biggest change was stopping feeding her overnight. I think we had created a habit where she would wake expecting to be fed. She was wake at exactly the same time every night out of body clock not necessity. I'd highly recommend the book. I was at my wits end

It's very normal for babies to wake several times a night, and at 10 mo, probably at the back end of a HUGE sleep regression.

Ferber is about as extreme sleep training as it comes.

What helped me was reading 'The Gentle Sleep Book' by Sarah Ockwell-Smith and doing what I need to do get enough sleep.

We haven't sleep trained but until some teething at this week, had been getting longer stretches having just carried on what we'd been doing, including night feeds (BF). He's now 14 mo and will go to sleep in his cot most nights and can join sleep cycles for up to 6 hours on a really good one.

We keep muttering about night weaning but I'm not sure I can face the screams

Agree with everything arbrighton says. It’s really hard but very normal and will get better. The gentle sleep book and also the no cry sleep solution are great choices to help.
