Hi,

I'm not due till december so have time to make a decision. With my son we had a moses basket in our bedroom but it was a faff and I never thought it was that sturdy on the stand. This time I want a bedside crib, we don't have space for anything too big and will probably have to remove the bedside units to fit it in...

Anyway, we have an IKEA MALM bed (the higher one that fits drawers underneath) and wanted to know if anyone has sucessfully used a bedside crib with this bed?

Which one would you recommend?

Thank you

Morning :)
We had a Chico next to me for our first and loved it. It's height adjustable, we don't have the same bed as you but it is very high.
I'm due in Dec too :) congratulations x

We had a Fabimax next/attached to our Malm with dc3. IIRC I had to get mattress toppers for our mattresses (we have quite thin ones) to bring them up to the equivalent height but otherwise it worked well. We had a babybay with dc2 (several years before) which also worked well (I think you can put them to any height you choose?) but we didn't have a Malm back then.

Ah, ours was a basic Malm without drawers, not sure how the other one differs.

Sorry for triple post - the babybay and the Fabimax are both very compact, don't need a lot of room. The babybay is (theoretically) convertible to a high chair/chair/mini sofa later on.
