Waking due to teething possibly

So my baby is 3& a half months, he's been sleeping through for about a month now,but he's suddenly started waking during the night which isn't like him. He's teething so I'm thinking that might be what's making him wake. Anyone have any ideas?

4 month sleep regression most likely!

Yes most likely sleep regression - have a little read up on it. Baby sleep isn’t linear unfortunately it can often go up and down for the first few years!

He was up last night from half 1 till 3, I read about the sleep regression and also saw that it could be down to a growth spurt. He didn't want to settle at all, gave him a bottle and he still did don't settle for a while. Is there anything I can do?

It does sound like a sleep regression. There isn't really much to do really apart from wade through it and remember that it will pass. Nap when baby naps etc. With my first DD, she wasn't hit too hard with this one, she had a dummy and was a fairly independent sleeper. However I do remember her being up in the night babbling to herself for an hour or so at this age! naps were hard and I struggled to get her down, she would wake after 30 mins. DD2 however was awake every 20 mins, co-slept to save my sanity. She didn't have a dummy though and relied on breastfeeding to settle! It's a tough first year with babies, sleep gets better then gets worse. 8-10 months is the absolute worst but before you know it they are all grown up and off to school Confused
