Need help with 11month baby waking a lot at night

Hi mums,
So I need your help and advice!
My 11month old has never slept through the night and wakes around 4 times 😬 I have only just started to let him self settle and it seems to be going well and he can now settle himself at night after his feed.

He is still breastfeed so I’m not sure if that is why he doesn’t sleep for long periods of time or if I’m doing something wrong
Would love everyone’s advice x

Sounds like a normal baby to me!

There's a gigantic leap around this age that is hellish. Both my dds sleep went to shit at this age. Nightweaning helped dd1 but not dd2... but it will pass. Dd2 now sleeps through at 20 months.

Sorry... not much help!

Thanks for your reply wetsnow I’m glad to hear it sounds normal! Hopefully his sleep will get better soon 🤞🏽 Just thought I might be doing something wrong 😬

Biologically normal I'm afraid.

And mine is/ was about the same

I'd suggest reading the gentle sleep book by Sarah Ockwell Smith as that explains what's actually normal vs what we're told they 'should' do

I normal, mine was waking repeatedly at 11 months now nearly 2 months later his sleep has drastically improved. The change has been really sudden.

Good to hear that! Everyone I meet is shocked to hear he doesn’t sleep through the night. I have read it’s normal for babies to wake up but everyone I seem to talk to has a baby that sleep.. they could just be chatting rubbish 😂 I’ll Defo have to give that book a read.
