Is it mean to make my DS take all his naps in his cot?

DS is almost 6 months old. Generally always been a pretty good sleeper, will sleep in the car, pushchair, bouncer or in his cot. Takes 3 naps a day and sleeps 6.30 - 6.30 with a feed at 3am.

His first nap is usually around 8.15am and I let him take it in his bouncer usually while I have my breakfast, however this then means I have to wait quietly til he wakes up so I can get on with things as he's easily disturbed during this first nap.

Thinking maybe I should just put him back in his cot for the nap instead - but is it mean? It would feel like he was spending a lot of time there. Does anyone put their baby down for all naps in the cot?

Since my son was in a cot he’s been in there for naps! Never considered it might be mean, it’s nice for him to have a proper sleep without being disturbed.

It’s not mean, but it’s not massively practical, surely? It means you have to be home every nap time?

For a while (until he was more mobile) Ds had his first nap on our bed.

Now he rolls and is almost crawling this doesn’t work.

He naps all his naps in his cot.

I don't think that's mean at all. I suspect he will go down to two naps soon though.
