I was reading something the other day that said as they start to learn to walk their sleep can becomre really disrupted until they master walking!!! I've no suggestions I'm afraid as DS has always woken for feeds and although it has driven me mad at times we've kind of accepted it as what babies naturally do (sleep training etc isn't for us) and have adapted to solve the prob by co-sleeping (I bring DS into bed with me if he won't settle back in his cot and he sleeps brilliantly). It could also be seperation anxiety I suppose, she's checking that you are still there?

Hope it improves for you!

many thanks yeah she is at the stage of walking and never wants to be off her feet? i always bring her in our bed to but as i'm having another 1 in about three weeks i was hoping to get her in bed!

Ohh!!! Maybe she is sensing the changes in the air and is feeling a bit unsettled by the anticipation etc? Babies pick up loads from our body language.

Congrats on bump, I have major bump envy at the mo.... keep thinking back to last year when I was expecting DS!

oh don't have bump envy i've got to a point where i want it over lol, thanks i'm just gonna have to plod on

My dd (11mths) has become unsettled at night and is just starting to walk so this is an interesting thread. Could be her teeth as wee I suppose. I can never do cc as always feel its her teeth or genuine tiredness.

shazzaronnie · 23/05/2007 20:41

its not her teeth i don't think as dd has 12 now and not really had any problems we have just moved house and before she was staying in our room did wander if that was y she wants to b in bed with us ???
