my son is 11 months old and has always slept with me because he was an awful sleeper, a month ago i took the dummy away and he wasnt at all bothered and he now sleeps a billion times better, on a good night hell only wake up twice and on an average night hell wake up 4 times but only wants 1 feed wich is between 2 am and 4. but the problem now is that he turns in circles all night its awful and i dont feel comfortable with it so ive tried three nights in the cot and when he wakes up where as usualy hel wake for a few seconds and put himself back to sleep he realises hes not in the bed and cries. i know i shouldnt but after doing this 4 times before midnight of getting him back to sleep in the cot i cave and bring him to bed. any suggestions ive tried the sheets under the cover to make it more of a nest so he wont spin around but it doesnt work, i wishbi could affort a sleepyhead but i cant because that did work until he grew out of it. i feel like just going in the cot with him lol any suggestions would be hugely appreciated i really want to do this before he turns one x

Mattress on the floor? My DS went onto a floor bed at 12mo to transition from cosleeping in our bed. It's great, I lie with him to go to sleep and if he woke up and then escape once he's asleep or settle in for the night. He sleeps through now so I just lie with him to go to sleep and he has plenty of room to wriggle about.

A safe very cheap alternative to a sleepy head is to roll up a thin towel or a big muslin or even a long scarf and put it under the sheet in the cot, so he cann't get stuck, but feels enclosed and cosy.

why shouldn't you bring him into you if you all sleep better?
Who says so?

It's what i do with mine who's same age
