I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

She’s 16 months
She sleeps after a bottle of milk around 7:30-8

She will wake up at least 3-4 times in the night SCREAMING - in the morning she is absolutely fine so it’s not that she’s unwell although she does sweat a lot in the night.

It’s so hard - we give in and give her more milk and the dummy as it’s the only way to get her back to sleep.

Really taking its toll on us - any advice - how can we make her sleep all the way through?

Why is she waking?

Why is she screaming so loudly?

Help

You can't 'make' her sleep through, she will when she is developmentally ready

How much is she eating?

Is she going through a big physical/ mental development phase

Teeth? Separation anxiety? Night terrors? No real advice I'm afraid but you have my sympathy as my DD who is 2 used to do this a lot and still wakes up for milk quite often Confused

Is she falling asleep on the bottle?

Thanks all

It’s just been difficult as we haven’t had a full nights sleep in 16 months!

She sleeps on the bottle sometimes but she always wakes up - I think I’m comparing to other friends who’s Babies are sleeping through by now... I know each one is different

Night terrors may be a possibility - how would you know and how would we stop them?

Teething is definitely the issue sometimes but this week it’s been such terrible screams - it’s just very hard! Confused

I hope it gets better soon - it’s not forever right..?

When my DD has the teething she lets out these awful screams out of nowhere it scares the life out of me! They will definitely grow out of it of course there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Silent reflux maybe? If your baby is sleeping straight after the bottle, there may be acid coming up as she sleeps, causing her to wake in discomfort.
