Puke and wind has got worse over the last two weeks, not better.

Think this is part of the reason baby is not sleeping. Generally settles himself after bedtime routine, naps have to be forced with dummy ( 2 naps of 2 hours and 45 mins respectively). I camt get him to have regular naps no matter what I do- so he has one about 12.30- 2.30 and one at about 5- 5.45. He usually settles to sleep about 9. Then up after 4 hours and after that he is windy and not settling down. I have to change his nappy around about 3/4 as he usually poohs. He's tossing and turning all night and won't go back to sleep after about 2. Then after his nappy change about 4 he starts to talk and then cries because he wants to get up

His frequent poohing and wind also affects his naps as sometimes I go to settle him for a nap and then he has wind and then poohs and then I start all over again.

Ive tried winding etc. I dont know why but his poohs have got runnier and more frequent lately and he just seems windier.

I can't take this anymore

My first thought with the runny poos, is he teething? DS tends to do the same and frequently when new teething, I think it's all the swallowing of the extra saliva. Have you started wearing early or anything else you think might be causing the sudden change in his bowel movements?

Plus, he's around the right age for sleep regression. That could be a big part of it too.

DS used to do the middle of the night chatting thing, he still does occasionally, but since we've started playing white noise all night, and keeping a favourite toy to 'chat' to in his cot, he's really calmed down.

I know it's not easy though Sad the sleep deprecation pushes you right to your limit.

Also, I know it's a bit grim, but could you describe the vomiting? It's it forceful, painful, texture, etc.?

No not weaning and no real change. He does tend to be more windy when breastfeeding than taking bottles (whether that be formula or breastmilk) I have left him with my bloke as well as tried out formula in the hope it would make him sleep- didn't work! He did, however go back to sleep when on formula- but didn't sleep in any long stretches (slept for 4 hours) His pooh tends to be better on formula- after the initial shock to the system.

He's back on the breast now... I don't think he is teething- I keep looking for teeth. He has however, I think, been teething on and off since about 3 months- phases of biting bottom lip and being so dribbly he soaks his tops right through. I hear it can come on and off for a while before teeth come.

I think he is what you would call a happy chucker- tends to be milky if straight after a feed- comes out as just saliva if changing him shortly after a feed and if comes out an hour later, dotted with coagulated half digested milky white stuff.

He's not really distressed about his wind or puke.

I thought he went through sleep regression for about two weeks, settled down for a week and then terrible for the last two weeks again.
