25 month old fighting nap and bedtime

I'm on day 4 of my 25 month old fighting nap and bedtime (although she's been fighting bedtime for a few days longer).

She was napping 12-1:30 and sleeping 7:30 - 6ish.

Now, she eventually naps at 1 and I wake her 45 minutes later (we have to do a school run). Bedtime is 7:30 but she won't sleep til 9pm. Still wakes at 6ish.

Do I have to face facts - are naps a thing of the past? Or should I persist and see if it's just a phase?

Looks like we're skipping the nap today, unless she cat naps in the buggy during the school run!

Yep drop the nap
Be flexible though and let her have it some days - maybe every other day or every 3rd day
If she doesn’t nap then bed at 630
If she does then bed at 830

Thanks for your reply! I'll give that a try today I think.

She rarely sleeps in her buggy for over 20 minutes so I'll see what happens during the school run today.

I'll miss nap time but an earlier bedtime will save me several hundred trips up and down the stairs Hmm

God embrace the nap drop! An early bedtime means evenings back again!

Ps if she does nap really don’t bother putting her to bed until later - she isn’t going to sleep at 730 so you are wasting your time trying - just let her stay up and play quietly

Yes you're right. It's tricky when I have 3 to juggle!

She only napped for 20 minutes in her pushchair today so should in theory be pretty tired come bedtime.....
