Hi all,..

I've posted before about routines and sleep but currently we're going backwards sleep wise

Honestly, it's like she just does not need sleep, I've recently moved her into her own room as I was constantly told (when she was waking for 1 feed) "once she's in her own room she will sleep so much better", I have already gotten rid of her crib in our room to a family member so moving her back isn't an option...

She currently goes to bed when she wants (bedtime is 8 but screams) so usually sleeps around 9/10, then wakes every 2/3 hours, sometimes for a bottle sometimes for a dummy wakes in the morning 6/7, she only sleeps in the day if we go for a walk or car ride.

I'm so tired I feel constantly shattered... can anyone please give me tips/routines, she has always self settled with a dummy and white noise and we have never had any issues up until now

Thanks everyone!

@Lemongingertea80 I keep really trying food wise but she's not a big eater, she's really small anyway and always has been which constantly worried me when she was little and breastfed, she picks at bits but never much, I keep constantly offering food and milk etc, my hv advised to offer something every 2 hours away from distraction (she's so busy) so I'm just trying to stick at that and see if she will take a bit more

You might it’s all connected; not eating much during the day results in night waking and feeds because she’s hungry. Then because she’s had a fair amount of milk overnight she doesn’t want to eat properly in the day. And repeat. Break the cycle and you might see an improvement. Or not, some babies just at my brilliant sleepers. But it’s worth a shot.

Might find it’s all connected (sorry typo)

When does she nap? Could you give a typical days food and nap times? Is she crawling? Without any more info my general advice would be to feed as much as possible during the day (milk or food, but food if possible), two naps however you can manage them, bath, milk, bed at 7--7.30. Will she co sleep?

Any luck with filling up your baby's tummy?

@Lemongingertea80 hiya! Thanks for posting sorry this thread left my watching list somehow so only just seen!
Yes thank you she's eating much more in the day and no bottles through the night Grin I think we are getting there!!

She's still waking a couple of times for dummy/ settling down but I'm thinking it may be due to warm weather and changing her room.. if not I'm thinking I'll try and ditch her dummy next... she just loves them when she's tired etc but I think loosing it may be what's waking her

Thanks again for your tips!! Xx
