Help with 20 month old sleep!

Read lots of posts on here before but never actually posted anything myself! Sorry for the really long post to explain!
My nearly 20 month old has never been the best sleeper but for the 8 months or so she has got herself to sleep happily at naps and night.
We still have the same routine 5:00/5:30 tea, bath, nursery rhymes/songs, books then bed at 7/7:30
She now has a small tantrum about going upstairs and again when getting in her cot and then just screams as soon as I leave her bedroom.
On a good night she will settle after 30 mins after me going up a few times.
On a bad night (last night) she will not settle on her own and just screams each time I leave the room so I end up sat on the landing outside her room so she knows I'm there in silence until she falls asleep (9:00 last night)
We also have screaming multiple times in the night which sometimes is the same screaming as when we leave her room which last for a few hours! Then other nights will not hear a peep until morning!
Always had trouble with early mornings we go through fazes of 7am which is great and 6am which is acceptable.
No matter the morning wake up time she will not nap earlier than 12:30 and I give her an hour and 20mins before I wake her because I can not seem to get her to sleep at night if she sleeps past 2pm.
This doesn't seem long compared to every other post I read on 18-24month olds sleep.

Any help or advise to do with anything in my post will be appreciated! Thanks!
