I'm in a world of pain

Away for the weekend with DD - 10 and my friend and her daughter.
We are in a family room.
I haven't been to sleep yet. Been kept awake by DD snoring. God knows how the other two are asleep. I'm lying here in floods of tears knowing I'm going to struggle through our day out tomorrow.
Supposed to be here until Sunday afternoon but seriously considering going home tomorrow evening

Looks like a ton of caffeine is your best bet. However green matcha also gives me a great energy boost in the morning. Is there anything you can take in the morning to get you through the day? Maybe invest in ear plugs so you don't have to leave the trip early?

Ear plugs are a definite. Feel like sleeping in the corridor

Is there a bathroom? I once slept in the bathroom because my travelling companion snored.

Are you in a hotel? They might have ear plugs at reception.

I sympathise - I always struggle to sleep away from my own bed, and my partner snores. It ruins trips away so much I’m reluctant to ever go on them.

Considered that earlier on but tried to sleep in the bed - if I get I now it'll disturb everyone else

I always used to be like this away from home. Earplugs & listening to white noise helped in the end.

Hope you managed to get up OK OP.

Buy earplugs when you are out. Has DD got a cold or has she always snored? Maybe a steamy bath or shower before she goes to sleep tonight may help. Coupled with earplugs (get the wax kind that mould to your ear) if the steam helps for a while, long enough to get you to sleep, you may stay asleep.

Are you in separate beds? If so, tilt the head of the bed - Telephone directory or something. That is supposed to help. Or is the room hot? If you can't turn down the temperature or open a window, put glasses of water in the room so the room doesn't dry out.

Sorry, didn't explain that very well. I mean put a telephone directory or something under the mattress so the head end of the bed is tilted up.
