Baby won't nap!!!

I've got a 4 month baby who sleeps amazingly at night! 7-6 but just won't nap at all!
She is breastfed so kind of dozes for 10 while I feed her but then just wakes straight back up!
Today she has been awake basically 12 hours and I'm worried that this will effect her development by not napping! She's quite happy throughout the day just quite tiring as can never get anything done....

I was at this point too! She would only nap on me and never in the cot.

What I did was:

One day waited until she was exhausted, it was about early afternoon. Took her to her room, didn’t feed her to sleep, got in sleeping bag where she cried. Walked round room to settle her and put her in crib. She fussed but slept 🤷🏻‍♀️

She now naps in her cot, but she had to be shattered that first time. Sometimes she cries before hand but it’s like the crying of being in her pushchair/car seat before she falls asleep.

I have a Ewan and also play lullabies

I know it sounds too good to be true, but my baby NEVER napped anywhere but on the boob or in the pushchair. X

My now 3.5 year old was exactly the same! He occasionally napped in his pram when I was out and about, never slept in the car (screamed instead). I tried everything, and ended up walking for miles just to get him off for about half an hour. He (and I) eventually gave up naps at 21 months when DS2 was born and I didn't have the energy to push him for hours.

Enjoy the nights and don't stress about it! My DS is a happy, active child and doesn't seem to have suffered because he didn't nap.

Try feeding her lying down. The middle of the living room floor is fine. Or a bed, if you want a rest too. Then at the end of the feed, insert a dummy in for the flutter comfort sucking smell extract yourself.
