Advice on how to stop 16wo from feeding to sleep

Any suggestions? This happens naps and bedtime although naps can be without a feed if in the car or pushchair or with some persistant rocking (occasionally). I have kind of resigned myself to day time naps being on me but am concerned about the constant feeding to sleep is becoming a bad habit.

I wish mine would feed to sleep. Much easier than what feels like hours of rocking! Grin
Just enjoy, they'll all be grown up and independent before you know it Sad

Get The No Cry Sleep Solution, by Elizabeth Pantly .
The main premis is all about stopping breast fed babies from feeding to sleep, with no distress for you or your baby.

I used to get terribly uptight that I was creating bad habits. That my DS would never sleep on his own. That I was spoiling him.

Then I discovered that it's biologically normal for a breastfed baby yo get sleepy when feeding and rolled with it. In fact as he got older it was a useful tool for orchestrating naps when I needed them to happen.

DS is 6 now. Climbs into bed by himself and usually won't even accept a kiss goodnight. Bedtimes are rarely a drama. He sees his bed as a nice place of calm and comfort.
