10 week old VERY sleepy??

This probably sounds crazy as sleep deprived new mummies we’re normally desperate for a sleepy baby... but all day today my 10 week old DS has been sleeping A LOT.
He normally sleeps 5/6 hours in one stint at night (between 9/10pm til about 3/4am), wakes for a feed (ebf) then go back down again for a few hours til the morning.
Today, he did his normal long stint overnight, but woke earlier than normal. He was smiling and content when he woke up so I just went with it, but we’re now on his 4th nap of the day and they’ve all been 1-2 hours long 😕 not sure if it’s related but he’s also had 3 very full dirty nappies this morning as well.
He has CMPA and goes through the odd ‘bad day’ if I eat something that doesn’t agree with him (eg excessive crying and bad nappies), but he’s never been like this. Could it be a growth spurt? Even though he’s not really eating more than normal?? Just a bit worried he might be poorly. He feels warm but doesn’t have a high temp.

Is he alert when he does wake?

Yea he’s woken up for about 20-30mins between the long naps for nappy change and feeds, he seems ok in himself when he’s awake but falls pretty much straight back to sleep after he finishes feeding. Although he has been a bit fussy on the boob before he first latches on?

My DS (12 weeks) hasn't very sleepy days every week or so. I think as long as he's alert and 'with it' when he wakes up then it's probably just a growth spurt. Enjoy it!

Exactly what Flutey says Smile

If he's eating and not running a temp I'd probably not be too worried. Do call 111 if you want to ask a nurse about it, that's what it's for.
