Waking shortly after bedtime

DD is 9 months old. We've had a very consistent bedtime routine since early on and she has typically been easy to get off. I BF her then put her asleep or sleepy and awake into her cot. She sometimes has a 10 second cry but will quickly quieten and go to sleep.

Except for the last 4 weeks or so will invariably weaken once or twice 10-30 mins after being put down. I repeat the procedure and she's off. It's so so frustrating though especially as the hour or so after she's in bed I want / need to spend with DS4. As it is he's once again watching tv alone downstairs while I tackle the second post-bedtime-wakeup.

She is teething but she has bonjela or on a bad day calpol before bed and I guess the pain is np worse now than at lunch or morning nap time when she's fine.

Any ideas??

This happens to me almost every night! Not sure how true it is as I’ve not managed to fix it yet but I read somewhere that it could be due to insufficient daytime sleep, how does she nap in the day?

She's not as reliable as her brother was at the same age/stage. She probably has about 2 hours sleep during the day. I'd prefer it was nearer 3 hours. Issue is that she can sleep very well in the morning but I'd prefer to wake her after 40 mins or so in the hope that she'll sleep longer after lunch. However she tends only to have about an hour and 20 max after lunch. I think it should be two hours!!

Tonight I had to go up there 4 times !!!! before she really settled. Ridiculous.

I think it’s totally normal to be honest especially if she’s teething. Must be tough though if you are up and down the stairs, but it won’t be forever x
