Where can my baby sleep?

Hi,

Our son is 4 months old and is now too big for the Moses baskets for his day time naps.

He sleeps well in his cot bed (in our room) at night, however if we try and put him in there during the day he thinks we’re putting him down for the night and cries.

Where do your baby’s take their day time naps?

We still need to hold our son to get him to drift off to sleep. so the idea of putting him in a travel cot/play pen and letting him get himself to sleep won’t work at this moment in time. The travel cost/play pens I’ve seen are so deep I️ wouldn’t be able to place him down once I’ve got him to sleep.

Thank you

Kerry

Can he sleep in his pram or pushchair in the Hall way?

My baby started off in her cot, then got fussy and only napped on me, then i tried her in her pushchair in the utility room (quieter) with her snoozeshade over, she went down fine, did that for about 3 months then she started going back in the cot again

Watching with interest as think I will be in the same situation with my son. I wondered about making a little nest for him on a sheepskin but I know I can’t use pillows or anything... think I will have to use the pram bassinet thingy.

You can get travel cots with a large bassinet that are raised, much easier to put them in. You can only use them until baby starts to roll/push up though, so might not be worth it.

Mine just slept on the sofa next to me, but it is very flat and firm. Sometimes they just fell asleep on the playmat on the floor and I'd just put a blanket over

Sorry, probably a bit lax by now Grin
