Clocks going back and 6 month old

Like most first time parents, I'm obsessed with sleep. DD will be 6 months next week and I'm now freaking out slightly about the clocks going back.

She will often wake up in the hour of 5am (I try to treat these like night wake ups and hold her off till 6am), always up for the day by 6.30am. Does this mean she's going to be up in the hour of 4 and always by 5.30am once the clocks change?? Please no!

She goes down for the night between 6pm and 6.30pm and wakes a couple of times for a feed (breastfeeding) before she's up for the day. Should I try moving her bedtime later by say 10 mins per day so that when the clocks do change she won't be wanting to go to bed at 5pm? Might this help her to wake a little later??

Possibly overthinking this - anyone care to tell me how your babies reacted to the time change? Pearls of wisdom gratefully received.

Oh shit Shockno advice but I forgot clock changes even existed in my sleep deprived state. DD is almost 11 months. WineGinfor us all and hopefully someone comes along who knows Grin

I’m not going to lie - the autumn clock change fucked ds1’s sleep right up Sad. He was 10 months. Took some proper sleep training to sort it out.

Now have ds2 who will be 5 months and is still waking for a feed. I’m dreading it, although hoping some children just have more rigid body clocks than others Confused

@itsniceitsdifferentitsunusual aargh that's what I'm worried about! I'm starting preparations by pushing bedtime back 10 minutes tonight. If I can get her going closer to 7pm it shouldn't be too bad if it needs to go back to 6pm when they change. Of course I can't control what time she wakes up though. I'm tired just thinking about it.
