Is a 3 hour nap too much for 12 month old

She goes to sleep at bedtime at 7pm, has one bottle usually around 11pm then wakes for the day at 5.30am.

She has a nap about 10.30am for 3 hours.

Should I wake her or leave her?

For my child, 3h wouldn't be enough at that age. She had two 2h naps at 12 months and when due first moved to 1-nap days (at 22 months old) they were 11am-3pm 4 hour naps. She is 3 now and still has a 3h lunchtime nap 12-3pm. Throughout all of this sleeping 11-12h uninterputed at night.

So no, not too much. Definately leave her.

Are you happy with 5.30am wakes? Because I'd say your day wants shifting later (later nap and later bedtime to give a later morning). That may be fine done by maintaining a short and limited 45m morning nap in order to allow for a later main lunchtime nap.

Is that the only nap of the day?

Thanks. The one nap thing is new. She Used to have an hour or so in the morning but then id struggle to get her to nap in the afternoon.

So I moved the nap later to half 10 (aiming for 11/half 11 but shes really tired by then) and instead of an hour or so shes having 3 hours.

Im ok about the half 5 start, obviously I would love later but its better than half 4 which she was recently doing. Im worried when the clocks go back she'll be up at half 4 however so may try a later bedtime although I do love my free evenings to myself. Guess I can't have everything!

Yes, that's her only nap. I really struggle to get her to nap again in the afternoon.

My son napped for 3 hours at this stage. I would leave her

I would move her bed time forward if she's just having the one nap if possible.

You might find it sorts out her early mornings too.
