i know according to ncss naps are best thing ever but...
ds has 2 hour morning nap, goes bed at 7pm,perfectly ok although with bottle in mouth.he then wakes repeatedly all night till 6.30am.sometimes only twicw, sometimes up to 10 times.we tried ncss,we tried baby whisperer which worked great until i went away.should i stop his nap or cut it down?

I found that my dd could go without naps for a while but now she needs it again. she sleeps for 2+ hours in the day and from 8 to 8 at night. So don't rule it out forever

15 months is young to cut out the nap. You might even find that he sleeps worse if you cut it out, as he'll be over tired.

I don't know how to advice on him sleeping better at night. That's a hard one.

is he waking up because the bottle has fallen out of his mouth?

kittypants · 04/04/2007 09:22

possibly as hes ok when he has bottle

maybe take away the bottle after he's finished the milk? I know that will be hard! Does he have a dummy?

kittypants · 04/04/2007 09:26

no we keep trying him with dummy but hes not interested .maybe i'll just take away bottle in night?

take the bottle away after he's finished the milk, but before he goes to sleep. Maybe give him a new cuddlytoy at this point to make it less hard

kittypants · 04/04/2007 09:32

he has a little toy cow 'sleepy cow' he holds at night.
