15wks old and becoming a nightmare at night

My dd is waking about every 2 hours during the night and won't settle without feeding. She has never done this even as a very young baby. Up until about 2wks ago she was sleeping 7ish till 4ish. She is 15wks old and has the teething signs of drooling and winging hand sucking - bonjela seems to settle her very briefly but I'm worried about the night feeding becoming a bad habit.
She doesn't really like taking water but was thinking that it might help. It is a horrible shock to the system we feel as though somebody has swapped our lovely baby for a nightmare at night.

I went through the same with ds2 only a few weeks ago when he was 14 weeks. It went on for a couple of weeks till I decided to wean him slowly. As soon as he had a spoonful of babyrice he slept till about 6. Is she windy? My ds is and I have to make sure he is fuuly winded before I put him down. She may be showing signs of weaning, all those symptoms you described above are for weaning as well as teething. My ds still can be a little fidget at aroun 4.30 but settles himself but he definately improved with a little solid food. I hope this helps because it can be exhausting and and sorry to hear that you are suffering the dreaded night wakings.

Hi Chuffed,
Agree with moosh on this one. Have you tried some calpol? If it is the pain of teething that is waking her then this might at least help to narrow it down for you, and give her some relief.

If not, then it may be nearly babyrice time....
